Hallooooo!!!!!

Hi everyone!

I was hoping to get a meeting of all our great minds together, but it is looking less and less possible to get a time that suits most people, so I thought that this would be a good way to communicate.

I will post all the latest news on our San Fran progress here, and I will ask Janis to start work on putting a link here to access the travel info and cost etc.

Please feel free to add anything you feel will help/hinder or otherwise tickle anyone else's fancy.

Once I figure out how to do this blogging thing, I will create a part of the page for "Lost Runners" - those seeking a running/walking/crawling/drinking partner - please feel free to create groups and put training run dates etc here if you want to - otherwise you can just be secretive, and keep e-mailing each other.

2. We all have until 11:59 on March 18 to get our names in the lottery.
3. If ONE of our group gets in, we ALL get to go - sounds odd to me, but this is how they want to do it.
4. If you get in, your credit card is charged, if not, you lose nothing.
5. The cap for the run is 20 000 runners
6. IF YOU ENTER, PLEASE USE MY EMAIL ADDRESS: percydocs@hotmail.com FOR THE GROUP ID - THE DRAW LOOKS LIKE IT WILL DRAW EMAIL ADDRESSES - WE ALL NEED TO USE ONE ADDRESS
7. We will be notified by email on April Fools Day (appropriate, no?) if we get in

Now, here is a suggestion - if you have a friend in outer Mongolia who wants to go, ask them to enter as part of our group - they don't have to travel with us or even talk to us, but the bigger our group, the better our chances of getting in - hence please feel free to enter your infant, grandmother, neighbour......(just joking!).
